Iranian women need to get permission to leave their country
The legal age in countries around the world is different. It's usually between 18 to 20 years old that a person is considered an adult. After this age, a person is mostly responsible for all the social and legal decisions they make. That's the reason why becoming an adult is a bit challenging. There are changes in responsibilities. Another law that should change in Iran is that women need to get permission from their father or husband to leave their country. It doesn't matter how old you are or if you work or not. Nothing can influence this law unless the father and the grandfather die or the women get divorce . It shows that government thinks women are discounted as a person who cannot think and decide the best for themselves, thus there should be a male to give permission to the women in order to leave the country. The interesting part is when even the father or husband gives the permission, they still need to pay a fee to make this official. This rule needs to be changed because this is against human rights and equality. I cannot see any reason behind this existing law other than controlling women and putting their value down.
